Transitioning from a small family-run business to a larger corporation can bring about some concerns. However, I have felt welcomed and supported by my new colleagues; many of whom have become close friends. Overall, the transition has been positive and has opened up new avenues for both personal and professional growth.

You know I feel as though you always hear talks about loving your job in order to be successful or feel as though you are not working at all. But one thing we do not shed light on, is having appreciation for the people you work with. The reason it was so easy for me to choose to return back to Salem Five Bank was the people I had worked with. To me it feels like extended family, that you actually like. Haha! There is a togetherness about working at Salem Five Bank that you just won’t find anywhere. Glad I was given the opportunity to come back home.

I've been employed at Salem Five for more than three years. I started my career here as an entry level Universal Banker in Retail. With great managers and leaders, I now work in the Wealth department which has been a dream of mine. The corporate culture of Salem Five encourages professional advancement and values its employees.
